Jack turns 2!!

As you all know, Jack celebrated the big "2" a few weeks ago on February 16th!  He had a great birthday week (just how his mommy likes to celebrate her birthday!) that included a visit from his Granny in Indianapolis, a visit from his Mimi and Grandpa in SC, and a big party with all of his family here in the NJ/NY area.  This was the first time that we have ever had so many people over for a party, in general, and also the first time that we've had everyone over to our new place in Metuchen.  It was a great turnout!  The catered food from our local deli was amazing; as was the desserts made by Nonni and Auntie Stephie; it was so great to see everyone and see them have a good time, and most importantly, Jack had a ball!  He LOVED blowing out the candles on his Lightning McQueen caked (baked and decorated by yours truly, but mostly decorated by Mimi.  Thanks Mom!)  He also loved opening all of his gifts, as you'll see below.  He was singing the Happy Birthday song for weeks....it was so cool to see that he kind of understood what was going on!  And now if you ask him, he'll tell you he's 3 and then 5...ha!  Slow down, kiddo, you have plenty of time to get to those ages!  Phew!  Thanks to everyone who was able to come over and celebrate with us (thank you's coming shortly!!).  We were so happy to have our family there and we know that it made Jack really happy as well.  Let us welcome....the Terrible 2's.  Haha :)
