Well, I guess my new mantra is "better late than never"! And besides, do pics of Jack, no matter how old, ever get old? His mommy doesn't think so! This year, we decided to head over to the Whippany Railroad Museum for a ride on a historic rail car with the Easter Bunny. I thought it'd be something different to do, but honestly, it wasn't all that great. Haha! We didn't get to go on the historic car, but on one that looked like the NJ Transit car I sit on every day to work. Jack did love seeing the Easter bunny come down the aisle....all dapped out in his overalls, but that was about it. It was a 45 minute ride, round trip and then all of the vendors were closed once we got back to the station!
On Easter Sunday, the entire family went to Rose's and Mike's for dinner and of course an Easter egg hunt for the boys. As always, we stuffed ourselves with amazing dishes, then continued on with desserts, and for me, Jack's Easter candy! He loved the hunt and loved eating all of the candy even more! He had a major sugar high going on. So much so that he crashed hard once we got in the car to go home and didn't wake up until the morning. Not sure where he gets his love of sweets from...haha...
