Now THAT is a birthday cake! Made and decorated by Jack's ever so talented mommy! (Oh, and I couldn't have done it without Mimi's help!) But how did it taste, you ask? AMAZING! (not kidding. That's what people said....lol!) Jack's 1st birthday party at Grimaldi's Pizza in Hoboken was so much fun! The space worked out perfectly for the 30 or so guests that attended. So many friends and family came by to celebrate with Jack on his big day! And I think that Jack had a lot of fun. At first, he was a bit shy and tired from his nap, but not long after we arrived did he open up and start running around greeting everyone and playing with his 2nd cousin, Lucas. Jack loved munching on his Nonni's pirate cookies. So much so that he didn't even eat any cake! Ok, ok....that was mainly because his mommy forgot to give him cake and no one reminded her!
Thank you to everyone for celebrating with us! I know that Tommy and I really enjoyed seeing everyone, as did Jack....I'm sure! Can't wait to do it again next year! (Maybe we'll wait until summer though!)
