A San Francisco Treat!

Mommy, Daddy and Jack enjoying Pier 39

Welcome back to cold, cold weather!  And I think we've all finally gotten ourselves and our internal clocks back onto EST.  Yay!  Jack made it through recovery and was his good 'ol self again by last Friday.

I have to say....I didn't quite leave my heart in San Francisco, as they say.  I found it to be a very non-kid friendly city and can't figure out how people with kids live there!  Although, it has the lowest amount of kids per capita than any other city in the country.  And I see why!  Could you imagine pushing a stroller up and down those insane hills?  Well, I did it and it was tough!  There are very few green spaces and very few restaurants have high chairs.  As if!  It was a beautiful, hilly, very scenic city though.  And the people were so super nice.  It may not be kid friendly (except for our hotel, which was VERY kid friendly), but it is, however, very dog friendly.  Oliver, the golden retriever, and Lucy, the black pug, were the cutest friendliest pups working the front desk of the hotel.  I think the next time I visit that part of CA, I'll go to the outlying areas, which seem beautiful when looking at them from the city.

Here's a picture story of Jack's first trip to California.

The banana chai cream pie that awaited me in at our hotel.  Yes, I ordered a pie prior to the trip! And yes, well deserved after that 6 hour flight!

The best $10 spent while in SF.  The children's museum, Zeum.

The lego wall at Zeum

What a smartie

Jack loved watching the other kids dance on the green screen here

Thoroughly enjoying the indoor carousel

Mommy and Daddy enjoying naptime (don't worry, Jack was with us! Ha!)

Chinatown!
Jack at the famous Lombard St.

Jack at Fisherman's Wharf

Enjoying the pretty tulips

This is obviously where Jack started to not feel well.  At Pier 39 where you can see the GG Bridge and Alcatraz.

The Bush Man.  Those who have been, know.

Mommy and Jack's fun cable car ride back to the hotel

We're feeling a little better here!

Look ma!  No hands!  (No worries, I'm behind him!)

Jack was not at all interested in taking pictures this day.

What a fun wall to touch!

Who is the world is this lady behind me?

One of the few playgrounds we hit up

Sliding down backwards...Jack's favorite!

Checking out those weird brown things moving around over there

Jack can't wait for his Sally's famous fish sandwich!

Now this is how you do a bread bowl and a fish sandwich!

Worst idea ever.  Jack's first bike ride!  He slept.

Chillin' at the hotel

Too cool for school
Another playground.  Wee!!
The "Full House" houses.
